Why do standard DVD's look worse on my new HDTV? - tv dvd comb disappointed
Hello! I have everything possible done to the quality of DVD playback on my new HDTV improvement. My progressive scan DVD player, Onkyo, and my TV is a 32 "Sharp Aquos 720p. M with parts and assembled with the appropriate cables. I even turned off progressive scan on my DVD player and convert the movie mode on the TV, which has basically the same at a different level to see if my TV does a better job of deinterlacing.
Anyway, my TV image is very blocked. I tested with several films from Pixar, as it is quite impeccable. In comparison, my old 4:3 CRT TV is much more stable and clear. HD channels are bright and clear.
PS-To connoisseurs Sharp, the TV does not leave me with 3D Y / C comb filter play option. It is always gray.
Thank you to everyone who can help you!

Your entire HD tries to 720 lines of information from a source to fill the only 480 in the best case. Not because he fed information.
You get a better picture if you have a DVD player that used the ability to receive, but never the best picture update when playing a DVD on a Blu-Ray. This assumes you are with a Blu-ray DVD. Like all those who responded said before me, you must use an HDMI cable to the interface. If you go HDMI, I suggest you check it for you monoprice.com cable. They have the best price I ever be found, offer and the specification, the cable was manufactured. I have not found that any other site.
